William "Skip" Raymond Thery Jr.'s Obituary
Racine - William "Skip" Raymond Thery Jr., age 72, passed away surrounded by family on July 1, 2025, at Ascension SE Wisconsin Hospital in Franklin.
Born on January 31, 1953, Skip was the beloved son of the late William Raymond Thery Sr. and Sally Ann Lipp. A lifelong resident of Racine, Skip proudly carried on his family’s legacy as the owner of T&K Specialty Products Inc., a business that reflected his dedication and hard work.
Skip was a man of many interests and quiet passions. An avid reader of just about anything he could get his hands on, he also had a deep appreciation for photography equipment, computers, and rebuilding old treasures. He was known for his dry sense of humor, warm friendliness, and his unique love for collecting everything. He found joy in western movies, quiet trips up north, and a good meal.
He was a proud member of the Fifth Street Yacht Club, where he enjoyed the camaraderie of the pool league, and a familiar face at the Eagle’s Club. Skip’s presence brought warmth and wit to those lucky enough to know him.
He will be deeply missed by his siblings: Timothy (Karen) Thery, Stephen (Melissa) Thery, and Denise Knudsen; his nephews: Harry Ticknor Jr., Joshua (Sara) Cronin, and Nicholas (Tarin) Cronin; and his great-nieces: Paige and Aubrey. He is also survived by many other cousins, relatives, and dear friends.
A celebration of Skip’s life will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Wilson Funeral Home with Chaplain Terry Peterson officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M. until the time of service. Skip’s final resting place will be at Calvary Cemetery in Racine.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Heidi and Noah for their loving care and support of Skip.
