Sad day to hear of Skips passing. We are the Zedlers -Jane Ellen
and John who lived directly across Thurston Ave from the Thery’s in the 1950s and 1960s. This is John responding. Many great memories of the boys and Denise (who I believe I inadvertently chased into a curb where she fell and broke her arm ??!!) I fondly recall the boys mostly Tim Skip and Dan with great adventures especially in the winter. We’d build forts out of places vacated by dug out cars. On one occasion, Skip came by to tell me that DPW (the plow crew) had destroyed my fort. Bummer.
