Scott William Schroder's Obituary
Racine – Scott William Schroder passed away on June 21, 2021, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee.
Scott was born in Davenport, Iowa on February 9, 1954, to the late William and Marian (nee Guldner) Schroder. He graduated from Rock Island High School in 1972. A few years later in 1976, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Augustana College.
He was united in marriage to Gretchen Warner on May 17, 2003, at Mount Pleasant Lutheran Church. Scott enjoyed the outdoors – particularly in the forms of golfing, hunting, and fishing. He was a passionate artist and talented wood carver for many years, creating beautiful handmade duck calls and waterfowl carvings. Scott was a beloved teacher in Wisconsin and Arizona. He was immensely proud of his children and his students.
Scott will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Gretchen Warner; children: Jonathan (Amanda) Schroder, Joseph (Delia) Schroder, Grace (Tearle Jackson) Jackson and Anali Warner; grandchildren: Elijah Nuno-Schroder, Reagan Jacobson, Damien Nuno-Schroder, Genesis Jackson; brother: Jim Schroder; cats: Henry, Gilbert, Misty and Jack.
A private service will be held in honor of Scott on a later date.
