Roberta Jean Peterson's Obituary
Racine - Roberta Jean Peterson (nee Reeser), 83, of Racine, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2024.
Roberta was born on January 5, 1941, in Racine, to the late William and Gladys (nee Webster) Reeser. She was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Robert Peterson Sr., on November 28, 1959, in Racine. Together, they shared a loving life filled with family, friendship, and faith.
She was a devoted member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Roberta had a burning passion for Elvis Presley, adored her dog, Sally, and had a knack for sharing a good joke. Her warm spirit and infectious laughter will be greatly missed.
Roberta will be lovingly remembered by her children, Debbie Gaxiola (nee Peterson) and Robert (Nancy) Peterson; sister, Shirley Gursky; cherished grandchildren: Joey, Amanda, Holly, Deanna, Christopher, and Alyssa; proud great-grandmother to Ashlynn, Grayson, Dylan, Jessie, and Jasmine. She will also be deeply missed by her niece, Doreen Uick, who provided her with compassionate care in her final days.
Roberta was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Peterson Sr.; brothers, William and Charles Reeser; sister, Lois Hadlock; and stepsister, Wilma Bradshaw.
Roberta's warmth and laughter will always remain in our hearts. She will be profoundly missed and cherished in our memories.
The family invites all who knew and loved Roberta to join them in celebrating her life during a visitation held at Wilson Funeral Home in Racine, WI on Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
