I will miss my "grams" very much. I will miss her giggle she'd do when getting off the phone, something I notice my mom even does lol. Til I see her again, I can look back at all the memories we had when she lived in AZ.
One memory was grocery shopping with her. First stop was Circle K to get her mixed drink. Basically if I remember correctly, it was all the fountain drinks available. Sounds gross but it tasted pretty good. Next it was the grocery store. She'd literally make a loop around the store saying hi to all her "grocery store friends". She always had her list, her clipped coupons and calculator. Next, we'd get her ice for the trip back home and lunch.
One thing I remember even more is before my grandparents broke down and got AC, she'd have the windows open and say "it's not that hot, feel that? There's a breeze!". We had a lot of memories of being at her house, playing Trouble and her version of Uno which by far is the best version. Attached is a picture I took of her in 2016 at her house.
