I was a young kiddo when my mom Penny started working at the labor Center my dad too😊Richard was kind! I got to do so much with my mom! Because he would say Sure nicky can come!! Lol I'm sure it was a different way, but thanks to Dick I was able to spend so much more time with my mom working💞 I loved coat checking! Helping my mom prep helping with bingo all sorts of fun stuff. just being at the labor center with the family! Thanks for some of my best memories Richard K. Fought! Rest in peace💞

I remember when we did bingo for the Blueliners and Crew. He was always so helpful and had a smile on his face all the time. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. One of the nicest people on this earth.

Rich was my only brother we became so close these past 5 yrs rebuilt our relationship as a brother and sister.We both looked forward too union meeting night's so we could talk and listen to each other about so many things.when I was little he was always there for me he carried me everywhere He went I called him Rah Rah he called me Bub bus it was his way of making me laugh He still made me laugh He would call me and leave funny comments on my phone or I would answer and he would make a silly joke and it made me giggle .He was a strong loving stubborn caring man .And I will miss him so much and would nit change anything about him .I thank the lord for blessing me with my big brother for 58 yrs I Love You Rah Rah Love BubBus hugs and Kisses

First time I met Dick was at DeRose's Bar during a fish fry. He was on lunch break from Racine Steel Castings. Later we met again at the Racine Labor Center where he helped run the bingo games. He always treated my parents with great respect. My parents loved to play bingo there and liked Dick very much. He was one unforgettable character and we lost one strong union person.

My memory of Richard Fought sr (Dick) is seeing him sit in the office watching sports games on his little tv and then come in the hall during bingo and socialize with all the customers and workers. He would always say to me “hey Johnny! Good to see you!” And then give me three dollars and tell me to go buy a beer 🍺 even though I don’t drink. Dick always had a great heart even when he lost his temper. Lol. He would always smile even when he was angry about something.

I had the privilege of knowing Dick fir many years!! I met him and Ricky when I was 14 years old!! They both always treated me like family!

My thoughts and prayers to the Fought family!! Many (((hugs))) to everyone and God Bless Richard Kenneth Fought!!
