Philip Michael Minneti's Obituary
Racine – Philip Michael Minneti, 75, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.
Philip was born on February 21, 1950, in Racine to the late Paul and Shirley (nee Petersen) Minneti. He was a proud graduate of Washington Park High School. Shortly after, he answered the call to serve his country, joining the United States Navy and serving honorably in Vietnam from 1968 to 1971.
Philip dedicated 40 years of his career to customer service, working for both Food Lion and Midwest Express before retiring in 2012.
He was a longtime member of St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Racine.
Philip will be deeply missed by his son, Philip Minneti II; his daughter, Melissa Minneti; his beloved grandchildren: Stephanie Wilson, Dominic Minneti, Justin Smith, Prestin Smith, and Alyssa Smith; and his great-grandchildren, Logan Wilson and Kiana Smith. He is further survived by his brother, Paul Minneti; his sisters, Gloria (Thomas) Howe and Cindy (Randy) Marshall; his nieces and nephews, Joel Minneti (Cecilia), Paul Minneti (Danielle), and Kim (Dave Valle); his good friend, Lisa Flores; and his dog, Angel.
Interment with full military honors will be held on Wednesday, December 17, at 10:00 AM at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
