I remember all of us nieces going to her house to make to her house to make Christmas ornaments, including paper stars that we dipped in hot wax. We had them on our Christmas tree forever.

I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. Martha touched so many lives through the youth bowling program at Castle Lanes. No matter your age, if you bowled there, you knew Martha. I’ll never forget how she tried to teach me to touch my nose with my thumbs. Of course, I was more worried about looking cool than following through properly, and I never did manage it. But that was Martha—patient, encouraging, and always wanting the best for us.

She was a wonderful lady who left such a positive mark on so many people, myself included. She will be deeply missed, and I hope you find comfort in knowing how many lives she shaped with her kindness and dedication.
