Loren Edward Clark's Obituary
Racine - Loren E. Clark, age 87, passed away on December 15, 2025, at Aurora Medical Center – Mount Pleasant. He was born on March 22, 1938, to Emil and Lydia (Makovsky) Clark in Caledonia. He attended Burbank School, Washington Junior High, and Horlick High School.
He started at Progressive Dairy where his father worked. Loren became a truck driver by profession, first driving dump truck for several quarries. He next drove semi tractor trailer, transporting meat carcasses (swinging beef) to New York and the East Coast for one year. He hauled LTL freight for Express Freight Line for almost 25 years and for Holland Motor Express for 9 ½ years, mostly to the Madison area. He retired from USF Holland on December 31, 1998. Loren also volunteered for the Racine County Sheriffs Department and was a member of Local 200 Teamsters Retirees.
He and his first wife, Marva (Sanders) had two children: Kimberly and David. He married Margaret (Razdik) Rivest on June 25, 1988, and they recently celebrated their 37th anniversary.
Loren was active in a Retirees Bowling league until a few years ago. He and Marge enjoyed going to the movies weekly, but their greatest pleasure was taking long drives around southeast Wisconsin and trying new restaurants. He preferred to wear shorts in all types of weather and wore a Santa Claus hat or coonskin cap in the winter.
Loren is survived by his loving wife, Marge; children: Kim (Jay) Keleske of Racine, David (Lisa) Clark of Lockport, IL, Clinton (Jackie) Rivest of Waukesha, and Curtis (Mary) Rivest of Lake Forest, IL; along with 10 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. He is further survived by mother-in-law, Ethel Razdik; sisters: Carol Knight of Union Grove and Kathie McDonald of Rice Lake; and brother-in-law, Jerry Brinkmann of Racine; brothers and sisters-in-law: Dan (Patricia) Razdik of Oregon City, OR, Joe (Pat) Razdik of Racine, and Sharon Roeschen of Racine; along with nieces and nephews.
Loren was preceded in death by his parents; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth (Vivian) Clark; sister, Shirley Brinkmann; brothers-in-law: Michael Knight, Bruce McDonald and Michael Roeschen.
A celebration of Loren’s life will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at 12:00 P.M. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
