Please accept my sincerest condolences. My name is Connie Mallwitz and I worked with Loren at the Racine County Sheriffs Department. We were part of the Citizen's Advisory Board. My best memory of Loren was that he always wore shorts, even on the coldest days. I think I may have seen him in long pants one time. He was not wearing long pants by choice. I will always be grateful for Loren and all he did to help the deputies and squad maintenance staff. RIP Loren. He's in shorts in heaven now.
