Lil was such an awesome neighbor for the past 30 years. She told us that when we first moved in she was a little weary of the thought of having 5 little children next door. She quickly warmed to our family and we soon were laughing and sharing stories in her back yard. (She also made the greatest zucchini bread which she shared with us frequently.) We will remember Lil as a kid-hearted neighbor who was always watching out for us. We will miss her! Our prayer is that Ray and Janet will find comfort knowing "nothing separates us from the love of Christ" and that Lil is rejoicing in her heavenly home free of all pain and sadness.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of "Mrs. T.", my second mom. We were next door neighbors for many years but they were more like family than neighbors. There are many fond memories of her but the one I treasure most is the infamous Mrs. T and her whistle story at the after party following our wedding (which by the way we were not invited to). It's comforting to know that she's reunited with "Mr. T." after all these years. We wish to express our deepest sympathy to Ray and Janet and family. She was a wonderful lady.

We were deeply saddened at the passing of my second mom, Mrs. T. There are a lot of great memories of her growing up as next door neighbors. "Mr. & Mrs. T" were more like family than neighbors. My great grandma was a wonderful person; I feel so lucky to have met her and to have grown up with her!
She loved all of her family, and took pride in all of us. She was so genuine and kind. I wish I could have gotten to know her better. She was a fighter until the end!
I will always remember our 4th of July parties and Thanksgiving at her house.
I am so thankful she had family to take care of her and to love her!
She will be greatly missed.

My condolences to Janet and Raymond who may not remember me. I was Janice Conrad when I, my mother and Dad Ruth and Fred Conrad, and my brother Fred lived on the lower floor at 1315 Grove Ave. while Lilian and Aage lived in the upper flat. They became good friends and I remember how excited we were for Janet's birth. If I remember correctly my Mom was Janet's godmother. I remember going to confirmation celebration parties after we had all moved from Grove Ave and seeing Janet while I was working at Kohls. Seeing the name LillianThomsen brought back many happy memories and I recognized her face at once.I am so glad she had a long and what seems like a happy life with her family and friends.
