Karen lived across the street from us from 1967 until 2013. We have so many great memories of her. She was family and felt like a big sister to me. Memories such as babysitting for the kids, or teaching me how to drive in her little Volkswagen. I had never driven a stick shift, but she didn’t care. She was so easy-going and happy. When my dad was living alone in his last years, Karen would call me if she was concerned about him. She kept an eye on the house and let us know if there was anything amiss. I can’t tell you how many times she was there for us. The day we moved everything out of the house she walked over and said goodbye to all of us but couldn’t stay long. She was crying and just wanted to go home. It broke our hearts. All our love goes out to her beautiful family. It was everything to her. 🙏❤️🙏
