Racine - George Walter Bush, 59, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Ascension All Saints Hospital in Racine.
George was born to Donald and Suzanne (nee Walter) Bush on October 17, 1964, in Racine. He graduated from Washington Park High School, class of 1982.
George was a member of Faithbridge Church in Franksville. Professionally, George excelled as a lighting designer/technician, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating captivating atmospheres. His career journey led him to various locations, including Nebraska, Tennessee, Texas, and Illinois. George's last employment was with TMS in Omaha, Nebraska.
Beyond his professional endeavors, George was known for his zest for life. He found joy in the simple pleasures of cooking, where his culinary creations delighted family and friends alike. An avid outdoor enthusiast, George cherished the tranquility of camping and the adventure of traveling to new destinations. His adventurous spirit and genuine kindness endeared him to all who knew him.
George will be deeply missed by his mother, Suzanne Bush; sister, Betty (Scott) Alford; cousins: Lis Stone and Jen Tallman; along with several other relatives and friends.
George was preceded in death by his father, Donald Bush; uncle, Tom Walter; and both sets of grandparents.
A celebration of George’s life will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Friday, April 26, 2024, at 1:00 PM with Rev. Dr. Dave Blackmer officiating. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials in George’s name may be directed to any of the following entities: Wisconsin Humane Society – Racine Campus (8900 16th St, Mt.
