I met G after a Mark Chestnutt concert over 30 years ago. We had lighting in common. He was a Lighting Director and I worked for a lighting rental company. This was enough to start our friendship and we were able to really build an amazing friendship. Even though we never lived in the same city, we found ways to build our friendship. So many adventures and memories, that I will treasure. Just a few: Cruise to Mexico, Brewer’s game, signing in a dive bar in Klamath Falls, OR when Mark joined the house band. Road trip CA to WA where a we did not agree on who controlled the heat or the radio. Crater Lake on Mother’s Day. Trip to the Oregon Coast through the Redwood’s to have seafood on the Oregon Coast. Many, many more memories. I’m especially honored to have become friends with his family also and will forever be blessed by that. Rest easy G. Love Lin
