I coached Ed and David when they were kids. I was a kid of 19 myself when I started to coach. Mr. & Mrs. Brehm were at all the games and were very supportive. They were the parents you enjoyed being around and you knew you would always remember them. I have lived out of town for a long time but when I learned that David had passed I looked her up on a visit to Racine. I spent a wonderful afternoon visiting and having lunch with her. It was one of those visits you didn't want to end. My condolences to all the family, and Jean, please pass my greetings to Mr. Brehm in heaven.

I liked Jean from the moment that I met her. It was always easy to hold a conversation with her & her laugh was contagious. I could always feel the love that she had for her family. I am very sorry for your family’s loss. I hope that you all will always remember how it felt to be loved by her and to share laughs with her. I hope those memories will bring comfort in time. As for me, I will always be grateful to Jean for having Joanie, who I was lucky to meet over 20 years ago when we were neighbors and have been friends since. I won the mother-in-law lottery with Jean! She was always so positive and never worried about things until she had to. She would always say to me “Do you you know why I like you so much? Because your Polish!” We had that common bond and would laugh every time she’s say that! Tom and I would regularly take her cruisin’ around in Racine. She would share stories about all of her friends from around town. I will miss her laugh and smile. Rest In Peace Jean. 💖

Dear Mum,

I am happy you are at peace now, but the selfish part of me is wanting to rewind and have you still here with us. I will miss our cruising the city, country roads and lakes together that you enjoyed so much. In spirt, I am watching the Bucks right now with you in Heaven. We will miss having you over for spaghetti dinners with fur baby too. Say hi to Dad, Susie and David. Give them great big hugs. Bucks win!! Happy tears! Keep your smile and laughter going up there!

Best Grandma anyone could ask for! Favorite memories - the Milwaukee Bucks game where she clearly knew more about the team than anyone else in Fiserv…playing t-ball in the backyard, gardening, and having oranges and grape soda every time we were over at her house. Miss and love you Grandma 💜

I will always remember our inside jokes, (she had the greatest laugh), her bologna sandwiches on Sunday mornings after church, her endless collection of photos which she kept in her photo boxes, her love of basketball, the travel channel, chinese food, sweets, pierogi’s, gardening, squirrel/bird watching, her dog, and so on. I’m happy she’s in a peaceful place with my Grandpa up in heaven looking down on us. You will forever be missed! ❤️💕📿🙏 R.I.P. Grandma!
