Donna (Krogh)Runnels
Uncle Elmer was my godfather. When I was a child, he always remembered my birthday. I loved to visit him and Aunt Kathleen because they loved animals as much as I did. They always had something interesting they were rehabbing in addition to their usual mallard duck hen. As much as I loved dogs though, Hannibal never seemed to like me even though I got to visit him at the farm where he was born.
Sorry I will miss the funeral. A couple weeks later, and I would have been in Wisconsin. Enjoyed reading Elmer's obituary. I learned a lot. I'll bet uncle Stan is taking it hard.
Love, Donna
