she was my grandma and im named after her and i remember me and my cousin would always go to her house on wednesdays cuz we were too young for the co-op our families went to and we would always bring our own lunches but she would make mac n cheese instead and then we would watch paw patrol and play with cars all day long
I am so sadden to hear of your loss yesterday. Cynthia was my first discussion leader at Bible Study Fellowship. She was an amazing woman that lived her faith in Jesus. Praying your faith will sustain your family during this difficult time.

We grieve with you as we share with you the joy of Cynthia's move to the church triumphant. What we know only in part she now knows completely--in the presence for her Lord. But the hole she leaves here is deep and wide.
Thank you for making the service in memory of Cynthia available to be streamed last Friday. Phil certainly hit the nail on the head for us with her joy and enthusiasm dominating our memories of her. To those wonderful qualities I would add--not stubbornness but--determination and a confidence to share what she believed to be the right and the truth. Yet always self-effaced and with a genuine smile and true concern.
We are sorry that we could not be there to share a supportive hug. Though in Christ we are not like those who grieve with no hope, we do grieve. God grant you strength in these hard days along with the joy of more than 50 years of memories of this faithful disciple.

My sincerely sympathy to the Black family on the passing of your sweet Mom, wife and grandmother. I knew her because she married Coach Black who was my gym teacher at Wadewitz. I would see her shopping and talk to her through the years. I remember thinking she was so pretty. Again, I am sorry for your loss.

Dear Ken, I wad so saddened to hear of Cynthia's passing. I was with my mom yesterday (Diane Barina/Radewan) and she let me know. I have such wonderful childhood memories of you and Cynthia teaching me to swim! We had so much fun in that pool over the years! I was so jealous of my friend that she got to have Mrs Black as a teacher in 2nd grade at Trautwein and I didn't! I remember it was so hard not to call her Cynthia and call her Mrs Black😊 I loved her growing up and always thought she was so beautiful. I will always remember her kindness to a small girl. Hello Ken, I was just notified by my mother, Diane (Barina) of Cynthia's passing. I'm so so sorry you had to say goodbye. What a life well lived! What a beautifully painted canvas she left behind with all that she did and accomplished. What wonderful memories flood my mind of taking swimming lessons as very young children with Cynthia at her folk's pool next door to my grandparents. I believe this was even before you were married. Later on taking Jr. Lifesaving with you. Much time has passed, but seeing the picture to the left is exactly how I will always see her...Beauty-full! She was also my teacher. As a widow myself I feel your heavy heart and pray that the Lord showers you, your children and grandchildren with strength, Grace and peace in the coming days, weeks and months. Dear Ken. We are saddened and shocked to learn of your dear wife, Cynthia, recent passing. In reading her obituary I realize what a fine, talented and beautiful Christian woman, wife and mother she was. We were in Young People's together at RBC and remember her contagious smile.
