I write today on behalf of the Klingsmith family in Denver who have always and will always consider Carole to be family. We learned so much from Carole. We learned that real people can balance their check book with an abacus and that you can trust the visually impaired woman to know which bus to ride. We learned that Pop Tarts are a delicacy and that you can lose 20 lbs in 2 weeks eating only bananas, hot dogs and eggs. We learned that dignity is a choice and that laughing till you cry is your best option when dignity fails you. Carole taught us the best places to hide Easter eggs when it is snowing outside. And we taught her things too - like U-turns are legal but may be rather disconcerting. And that sight doesn't guarantee one's ability to navigate stairs! We taught her that little girls can giggle all night long. Carole sang "The Love of God" in each of our weddings. And that is the lesson we shared the most with our precious and most loved friend - live in the love of God. We can't wait to see her seeing Him.
