Brian LaFever's Obituary
Friendship - Brian R. LaFever, 34, passed away at the Moundview Memorial Hospital on Sunday, August 19, 2007.
Brian LaFever was born to Dale and Gloria (nee: Peters) LaFever on October 15, 1972. In Racine, he was united in marriage to Mary Sherwood on July 18, 1992.
Brian was a district manager for Capital Newspapers. He managed circulation of the Wisconsin Reminder and the Stopper, serving Sauk, Columbia, and Juneau counties, for 4 years. He also managed 150 independent contractors. In his teenage years, he was a Boy Scout, Troop 272. Brian was an avid hunter, fisherman, and camper. He had a general love for the outdoors. He enjoyed cooking and baking for others. He met life fully with love of joking and pranks.
Brian is survived by his wife, Mary; his children Joshua and Alyssa LaFever of Friendship; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Wendy (Phu) Nguyen of Racine and Angela Galvan of Reedsberg; one brother and sister-in-law, Thomas (Nicole) LaFever of Racine; one step brother, Jack Holling of Friendship; his mother, Gloria Carr of Racine; his father and step mother, Dale (Linda) LaFever of Friendship, his paternal grandmother, Audrey LaFever of Racine; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Holy Communion Lutheran Church, 2000 W. 6th Street, on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at 12 pm with Rev. Jeffrey Barrows officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friend may meet with the family at the church from 10 am until time of service.
