Deaconess Bonnie Beth Belasic's Obituary
Racine – Deaconess Bonnie Beth Belasic, 80, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at her residence.
Bonnie was born to the late Anthony and Ruth (nee Kapellusch) Belasic on November 1, 1943, in Racine. She lived her life serving the Lord. Bonnie was an ordained Deaconess, who for the first part of her career, did many missionary travels though out the U.S.
Bonnie adopted her daughter in 1985 in Kansas when her daughter was nine years old. Bonnie then moved to Illinois in 1986 to finish her career with the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America as their Director of Communication and Stewardship Interpretation. She touched many lives and will be missed.
Bonnie will be deeply missed by her daughter, Jane Ruth Belasic; granddaughter, Wynter Bennett Belasic; grandsons: Noaa Joseph Belasic and Symon George Michael Pisula; and soon to be great-granddaughter, Maeve Renee Gonzalez.
A celebration of Bonnie’s life will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
