Bonnie and I worked in Michigan in the late 1960s and early 1970s as deaconesses. She was in Howard City and I was at Cental Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. She was such a beautiful person, very caring, very creative, very wise, and loyal friend. Every so often we would have phone marathons and talk and talk for hours. Our lives drifted and contact became less. I just learned about her death today. My sincere sympathy to her whole family.... what a tremendous loss for all of us. But because He lives, Bonnie lives too. I expect her to be one of the first on the Welcoming Committee in Heaven to greet me. I so regret not knowing this sooner.
