What a life - what a great guy. Al and I worked together as electricians in Racine in the 1960's. We never were too busy without Al lighting up his pipe. A great teacher too me as I was an apprentice electrician when we first met. I left the trades and worked as a salesman for Sears in Racine and in 1977 moved too Rhinelander and purchased the Sears catalog store. One day, here walks in Al at my store and we were both shocked too see each other so far from Racine. We have had nice talks with Al over the years - both at his trailer home in Monico, our home in Rhinelander and of course eating out at Culvers, Friendship House, etc. My son Scott got to know Al very well and they kidded each other a bunch. It was tough on Al but he went daily to be with your mom in the nursing home. He leaves a lot of friends here in the Northwoods and will be missed. God Bless your family in 2021 - you had a wonderful father and grandfather. Jerry and sharon Nelson
