William Treiber's Obituary
Mr. William E. Treiber, 82, passed away at Mount Carmel Medical & Rehabilitation Center in Burlington on Saturday, May 10, 2008.
William Treiber was born in Racine to the late Joseph and Theresa (nee: Szakaly) Treiber on March 9, 1926. He had lived in Racine all his life.
Mr. Treiber served in the United States Navy during World War II. After the War he was employed at Tree Machine and then at Racine Plastics as a Tool & Die Maker. He was an avid Packer Fan and a hardworking handy man working until his illness in 2007. Mr. Treiber was a member of the World Wide Church of God in Kenosha. He enjoyed woodworking.
William will be dearly missed by his three children, Jerry (Sherry), Jimmy (Sandy), and Jon (Jill) Treiber; six grandchildren, Derek, Jessica, Ryan, Tiffany, Brodie, and Max; three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, Rose Mary Treiber, Anne Gayhart, Frank (Florence) Bogyos, and Dorothy Trieber. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret C. Treiber; two brothers, John and Joseph, and his sister, Mary (Curly).
Funeral services will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home 1212 Lathrop Avenue on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 12:00 noon. Private interment will be held on Monday morning at West Lawn
Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial to the family have been suggested.
