Vernon S. Myhre's Obituary
Vernon S. Myhre passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Starr Regional Medical Center in Athens, Tennessee. Vern was born on December 12, 1943 in Spring Grove, Minnesota. He worked for Case IH Local 180 for thirty years and retired in May of 1995. Vern enjoyed antiquing, old cars, jigsaw puzzles and playing with his spoiled cat, Muffin.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Nancy J. (Mandrey) Myhre of Athens, TN; his son and daughter-in-law, Kevin L. and Catherine L. Myhre of Philadelphia, TN; his sister Harriet (Myhre) Buhler of Racine, WI and several nieces and nephews.
Vern was preceded in death by his parents, Orlando and Margaret (Olfason) Myhre and several brothers and sisters.
Services will be held at the West Lawn Memorial Park Chapel (9000 Washington Ave, Mt Pleasant, WI) at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 27, 2017 with Rev. Laura Fladten officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wilsonfuneralhomeinc.com.
