Tony George Kivenas' Obituary
Anthony George Kivenas, 81, passed away at Ascension All Saints Hospital in Racine on January 3, 2021.
Tony was born to the late Stanley and Aleksandra Kivenas on June 17, 1939 in Lithuania. Tony was united in marriage to Maria (nee Petkunas) on August 19, 1982 in Chicago. He was a faithful member at St. Lucy’s Catholic Church for 10 years. At the age of 75, Tony retired from Pneumatech. Tony was an avid supporter of the Racine-Kenosha Lithuanian Women’s Club and did everything he could to help them. A man of many trades, Tony loved to work with his hands. He spent as much of his time outdoors building decks, gardening and tending to his yard. In the wintertime, when the weather did not allow Tony to be outside, he built with micro-Legos and paint by number projects. Above all, Tony loved his family, and he will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish Tony’s memories are his wife: Maria Kivenas; children: Romas (Michelle) Kivenas, Nadia Kivenas, Algis Kivenas, Nicholas (Amanda) Kivenas, and Andrea Kivenas; siblings: Kaz (Kristy) Kivenas and Lola Kivenas; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Tony is preceded in death by his sisters: Bernice and Harriett; brothers: Stanley and Peter; and grandsons: Ronnie Vasquez, Brandon Vasquez and Kevin Kivenas.
