Todd William Jacobs' Obituary
Racine-Todd William Jacobs, 59, passed away with his family by his side on Tuesday, May 11, 2021.
Todd was born to the late John and Lillian (nee Heidersdorf) Jacobs on December 27, 1961, in Racine. He was united in marriage to Cindy Mertins on October 2, 1982, also in Racine.
Todd worked as a diesel mechanic at Highway C Service in Kenosha County. Todd has been working as a mechanic since he was 14 years old. He was a handyman, everyone referred to him as a jack of all trades. Todd was an avid motorcycle rider and loved Harley Davidson. Most of all, Todd loved his family with all his heart and cherished every moment with them.
Todd will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Cindy; his children: Brian Mertins (Diane Jensen), Christine Hibble (Richard), and Bradley Jacobs (Sheena Hickey); grandchildren: Brian Jr., Cameron, Bentley, Logan, Analeah, Sebastian, Hunter, Jase, Travis, Michael, Noah, Jaxon, and Lillian; siblings: John W. Jacobs (Nancy Widmar), Clyde Jacobs (June Eternicka), Connie Jensen (Peter), and Kimberlee Jacobs-Hopkins (Jim); as well as many other relatives and friends.
Todd is preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Diane Jacobs.
A Celebration of Todd’s Life will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at 12:00 P.M. with Holly Anderle officiating. Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to Todd’s family.
