Thomas George Wieczorek
RACINE – Thomas George Wieczorek, 66, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints on Tuesday, March 10, 2015.
Thomas was born to the late George and Anne (Erickson) Wieczorek on February 28, 1949 in Racine, Wisconsin. He graduated from William Horlick High School and later received a Bachelor’s Degree from U.W. Parkside. A veteran of the Vietnam War, Thomas served in the Navy as an Aviation boatswain’s mate. He retired from St. Luke’s after working many years as a mental health associate.
Thomas enjoyed golf, his guitar, movies, reading, music, cooking and his dogs, Reggie, an American Eskimo, and Baron, a Sheltie.
Surviving are his children: Donald Wieczorek, Allyson Crass, Brent Wieczorek, Jennifer (Chad) Rognsvoog, Erica (Mike) Minniear and Ryan Wieczorek; and grandchildren: Ayla, Ashton, Carter and Owen.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Fred Wieczorek.
A funeral service will take place at Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Friends and relatives may visit with the family on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Wilson Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and again at church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow the service at Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Racine Campus Humane Society, located at 2706 Chicory Rd, Racine, WI 53403.
