Thomas "Tom" J. Petersen's Obituary
Cassville, WI (formerly of Racine) - Thomas J. Petersen, 67, passed away at Hospice Alliance Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie on Friday, May 22, 2026.
Tom was born in Racine on October 28, 1958, to the late James and Betty Petersen. He was united in marriage to Annamarie Smrekar on July 22, 2000, at the DeKoven Center in Racine. Together they shared many happy years and created countless cherished memories.
Tom enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, and hunting. He was well known among family and friends for his secret Bloody Mary recipe, which he proudly kept under wraps. Above all else, Tom loved his family. He was a devoted father, proud grandfather, and loving great-grandfather who took great joy in spending time with those he loved.
Tom will be deeply missed by his children: Amanda, Robin, and Benjamin; his grandchildren: Summer, RJ, Brantley, Jayce, Brayden, Erika, Ethan, Breeson, and Phoenix; and his great-grandchildren: Kalachuchi and Iyanna.
Tom was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Annamarie Petersen.
A celebration of Tom's life is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
