Thomas "Tom" J. Petersen's Obituary
Cassville, WI (formerly of Racine) - Thomas J. Petersen, 67, passed away at Hospice Alliance Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie on Friday, May 22, 2026.
Tom was born in Racine on October 28, 1958, to the late James and Betty Petersen. He was united in marriage to Annamarie Smrekar on July 22, 2000, at the DeKoven Center in Racine. Together they shared many happy years and created countless cherished memories.
Tom enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, and hunting. He was a retired member of the Roadrunners MC. He was well known among family and friends for his secret Bloody Mary recipe, which he proudly kept under wraps. Above all else, Tom loved his family. He was a devoted father, proud grandfather, and loving great-grandfather who took great joy in spending time with those he loved.
Tom will be deeply missed by his children: Amanda, Robin, and Benjamin; his grandchildren: Summer, RJ, Brantley, Jayce, Brayden, Erika, Ethan, Breeson, and Phoenix; and his great-grandchildren: Kalachuchi and Iyanna.
Tom was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Annamarie Petersen.
A celebration of Tom's life will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 12:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at Pudgy's Pub in Racine. Family and friends are invited to gather to share memories and celebrate Tom's life. Food will be provided, and a 50/50 raffle will be held during the event.
