Thomas Eric Peterson's Obituary
Racine - Thomas Eric Peterson, age 42, passed away suddenly at his residence on April 18, 2021.
Thomas was born in Racine to Thomas and Mary (nee Timo) Peterson on April 7, 1979. He graduated with a high school diploma from Gateway Technical College of Racine. Thomas was employed by Z & Z Machine Products, Inc., and Arbee’s Liquor until March 2020 about when the COVID – 19 pandemic started.
Thomas was a past member of the Racine Instinctive Bowmen, Inc. He enjoyed hunting via both archery and rifle. He also liked playing cribbage and dominos. Thomas was a fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Cubs. Thomas was a fun-loving person to his friends and family. He had a great sense of humor and was very smart despite his struggles with mental illness. Thomas loved his cat, Joker who kept him company at home during the pandemic.
Thomas will be lovingly remembered by his son, Rob; parents, Mary, and Thomas; brother, Tim; maternal grandmother, Norma Timo; aunts and uncles: Terry Hardt, Ronald Jr. (Penny) Timo, Norman Timo, Herbert (Julie) Timo, Lynn Kiedrowski, Candice Peterson, Michael (Sue) Peterson, Mary (Kai) Genich, Barbara Cross, and Kevin (Penny) Peterson; godparents: Bill Kusters and Terry Hardt; special friends: Randy Morrison, Ann Clausen, and Alejandro, his Dominos partner; special cousins: Leo Peterson Jr. and Chris Hardt along with many other cousins; and his cat, Joker.
Thomas was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Martha (Leo) Peterson; maternal grandfather, Ronald Timo Sr.; aunts and uncles: Dennis Hardt, Charlotte Timo, Leo Peterson, and Eric Peterson.
A celebration of Thomas’ life will be held as an open house in Yorkville at Racine Instinctive Bowmen, Inc., 14403 50th Road, Sturtevant, WI 53177 on Sunday, April 25, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
