Thomas K. Ciborowski's Obituary
Mt. Pleasant – Thomas Karl Ciborowski, 53, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 12, 2013.
Tommy was born in Racine to Karl and Jean (nee: Drescher) Ciborowski on September 4, 1959 and lived in the Racine area all his life.
Tommy attended St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. He was most recently employed by Wal-Mart. Tommy was a person of many interests and talents. He enjoyed bowling, drawing, fishing, taking photographs during nature walks, motorcycle riding and listening to his favorite band, Journey. Tommy was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and Minnesota Vikings fan. He also took pride in his beer can collection. But above all, Tommy was a generous and loving person who would give of himself to help anyone.
Tommy will be deeply missed by his parents, Jean and Karl Ciborowski; three sisters and one brother, Dawn Petersen, Diane (David) D'Angelo, Sharon Ciborowski and Dave Ciborowski; one nephew and two nieces, Zachary (Lisa) Hansen, Rhiannon Hansen and her fiancé, Andy Erickson and Davina D'Angelo; one great nephew, Tyler Erickson; his special friends, Jim Frederiksen, Rick Peterson and Danny Grow; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Tommy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Fred and Ethel Drescher and his paternal grandparents, Nick and Jenny Chilla.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6400 Spring Street, on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 11:00 am with Father William Dietzler celebrating. Relatives and friends my meet with the family from 9:00 am until the 11:00 am Mass. Memorials may be directed to the family or to one's favorite charity.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the Mount Pleasant Police, Fire and Emergency departments for their support and compassion given to them during this tragic time.
