Sylvia Ann Kluender's Obituary
Mount Pleasant - Sylvia Ann Kluender, 72, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2022, at Pleasant Point Assisted Living.
Sylvia was born in Racine to Howard and Edna (nee Maurer) Krenzke on February 17, 1950. She was graduate of Washington Park High School, Class of 1969. She was employed by S.C. Johnson for 30 years retiring in 2012.
Sylvia was bubbly and outgoing yet reserved in her own way. Her hobby was stamping. She made various cards from her years of stamping experience. She also liked to decorate cakes. Sylvia’s favorite pastime was skiing, hence, her membership in the Snomad Ski Club for many years. She also enjoyed going out to fairs and home expos, and to eat at restaurants, especially at the Cozy Lounge.
Sylvia will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Kathleen (Todd) Westervelt; brother, Richard (Dr. Karen) Krenzke; former husband and close friend, Kurt Kluender; nieces and nephews: Paula (Justin) Davis, Brian (Lindsey) Westervelt, Alex Krenzke, and Emily Krenzke; sister-in-law, Nancy (Mike) Harmann; brother-in-law, Mark Kluender; niece, Carrie (Aaron) Stills; nephew, Robert (Collette) Harmann; great nephew, Liam Harmann; and other relatives and friends.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Mary (Gary) Petersen; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Phyllis (Robert) Kluender.
A visitation will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on, Thursday, July 7, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
