Susan Ann Czarnecki's Obituary
Waterford – Susan Ann Czarnecki, 76, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026.
Susan was born on May 31, 1950, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to the late Junior and Adaline (née Jarolmaek) Czarnecki. She worked at Waterford High School as a cook for many years.
Susan was actively involved in 4-H, serving as a project leader and helping guide and encourage countless young people throughout the years. She was also a devoted member of the VFW, proudly supporting veterans in honor of her husband, who served his country as a foreign war veteran.
In her free time, Susan found joy in gardening, baking, and caring for her beloved pets. A proud pet mom, she shared a special bond with her furry companions, who brought her endless happiness and comfort throughout her life. She cherished the simple pleasures in life and the time spent with family and friends.
Susan will be deeply missed by her life partner, Ralph Brown; her brother, Michael Washburn; her sister, Laurie Ueberfluss; her sisters-in-law, Rose Washburn and Donna Washburn; and her cherished nieces and nephews: Robin, Bobby, Tony, Laura, Allen, Brian, and Karen, along with their spouses and children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Czarnecki; her sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Robert Contois; her sister, Mary Washburn; and her brother, Richard Washburn.
A celebration of Susan's life will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment with committal services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Wood National Cemetery in Milwaukee.
