Shirley M. Bosch Ward's Obituary
Castalian Springs, TN (formerly of Racine) – Shirley Bosch Ward passed away on September 26, 2025.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husbands: Gerald Ward and Paul P. Bosch; son: John M. Bosch; and daughter, Jean M. Burke; parents: Ted and Susan Weiss; brother, Tedd Weiss; sister, Peggy Wheat; brother, Allen Weiss; and grandson, Brian Bosch. She is survived by her children: Paul J. (Angela) Bosch of Castalian Springs, TN, Victoria Bosch of Garmisch, Germany, Daniel (Stacey) Bosch of Lake Tapps, WA, and Glenn Bosch of Racine, WI. Also surviving are her sisters, Donna Ysebaert and Bernice Besch; brother, Jerald (Conchetta) Weiss; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Survived by Patti and Ashley Ward, Jeff (Teresa) Ward, and Jennifer (John) Warren, and very special friends, Gary Treffert and his family, and Michele Bosch.
Shirley was born and raised in Appleton, WI area. She spent most of her adult life in Racine, WI, where she raised her six children. Shirley felt her greatest accomplishment was raising her children and she was extremely proud of each one. She loved being a grandmother and having them around brought her much happiness.
Shirley moved from Racine to Hermitage, TN, where she later met and married Gerald Ward. She was employed with United States Probation Office in Nashville, TN. She attended Creekside Fellowship in Castilian Springs.
At Shirley’s request, there will be no public service. Shirley will be cremated at Wilson Funeral Home in Racine, WI, and inurned at Memory Gardens in Gallatin, TN.
