Sharon Elaine McDonald's Obituary
Sharon Elaine McDonald, age 77, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017 at her residence with her family by her side.
On August 4, 1940, Sharon was born to John and Marjorie (nee Edmonds) Kropetz in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. Sharon worked in Accounting at Milwaukee County Hospital.
Sharon had strong spiritual convictions and was a convert to Judaism. She loved cooking and trying new recipes. Her Caesar Salad was legendary. Sharon was a fan of both car and bike racing, citing Lewis Hamilton and Lance Armstrong amongst her favorites to watch. She enjoyed trips to Hawaii and was fond of watching the Travel Channel, as it allowed her to travel and see the world from the comfort of her home. Sharon also adored her two little dogs: Bandit and Remi.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Dean (Ermalinda) Schroeder, Robert (Barbara ) Schroeder, and Deborah (Morley) Loop; her grandchildren: Cody Aschenbrenner, Ashley Aschenbrenner, Ann Schroeder, Aemiliana Treiber, Robert LaSchiava, and Joshua (Veronica) Potter; 5 great grandchildren; her brother, James (Judy) Kropetz, and other relatives and friends.
Sharon was preceded in death by her former husband, Jerry McDonald; her former husband and father of her children, Paul Schroeder, and her parents, John and Marjorie Kropetz.
A time of visitation for Sharon will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home (1212 Lathrop Ave.) at 2:00 p.m. A service celebrating Sharon’s life will follow at 3:00 p.m. Inurnment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
