Scott Allen Mead's Obituary
Mount Pleasant - Scott Allen Mead, 64, passed away at home on June 23, 2024.
Scott was born in Ashland, WI to Keith and Sally (nee Lyons) Mead on February 14, 1960. Scott married Sue Ann Imhoff in Racine, WI on October 27, 1979.
Scott was a proud American who absolutely loved Wisconsin. He was a true outdoorsman, finding joy in camping, hunting, fishing, and riding his ATV. He particularly loved trips to Wild Rose and the Freemont area. He cherished fishing with his close buddies at Blackhawk Lake. His Sundays were dedicated to watching Wisconsin TV shows like Mad Dog and Merrill, Larry Smith Outdoors, and Outdoor Wisconsin. Scott was also an avid Green Bay Packer fan, and never missing any of their games.
Passionate about Harley Davidson motorcycles, Scott found freedom in riding with loud music with the wind in his face. He had a deep love for rock 'n roll, especially heavy metal music. Above all, Scott valued spending time with his family and friends.
Scott will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sue Mead; daughter, Rose Mead; grandchildren: Silas Wehrli-Mead and Lynzi Wehrli-Mead, whom he was affectionately called "Pop-Pop"; and many other beloved extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Keith and Sally Mead, and his sister, Tracey Mead.
Per his wishes, Scott was cremated, and a celebration of life will take place at Dickie’s Bar on Sunday, July 28, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Condolences and memories of Scott may be shared online at www.wilsonfuneralhomeinc.com.
