Scott Steven Mamach's Obituary
Racine - Scott Steven Mamach, 67, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, April 6, 2026, at Ascension All Saints Hospital.
Scott was born on July 23, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Marcel and Dolores (née Pokryfke) Mamach, and was raised in Schaumburg, Illinois. He worked as a journeyman construction worker and took great pride in his craft.
Scott found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved vacationing in Santa Cruz, California, and had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, especially camping and gazing at the moon. He was artistic and expressed himself through wood carving and drawing. Scott also enjoyed Tuesday night trivia, listening to 70’s and 80’s rock and roll music, and watching old movies—especially the ones that could bring him to tears.
Known for his quiet and reserved nature, Scott had a deeply sentimental side. He was loyal, kind-hearted, and caring, with a big heart that left a lasting impression on those who knew him. He was a wonderful and devoted brother and will be remembered for his sweetness and compassion.
Scott will be deeply missed by his siblings: Mike (Sondra) Mamach and Kathy (Rob) Spatz; his nieces and nephews: Michael Mamach Jr., Lora Mamach-Hubert, William Hubert, and Tyler Hubert; as well as many cousins, other relatives, and friends.
In accordance with Scott’s wishes, no funeral services will be held.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers at Preceptor Hospice and the staff at Ascension All Saints Hospital for the compassionate care and support shown to Scott.
