Scott B Harms' Obituary
KENOSHA – Scott B. Harms, age 65, of Mesquite, NV, passed away in Kenosha on January 16, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.
Scott was born in Norfolk, VA on September 19, 1951 to Bernard and Eleanor (nee Frick) Harms. He was united in marriage to Debbie Fliess on November 10, 1973. Scott worked as a Chemical Processor for SC Johnson Wax for 39 years, retiring in April 2008.
Golfing, fishing, and bowling were activities that Scott enjoyed. He was a fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Cubs. He and Debbie both enjoyed gambling, and their frequent visits to Las Vegas led them to purchase their retirement home in Mesquite, NV. Scott also enjoyed dining out and socializing with his neighbors. His sense of humor will be missed by many.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Debbie; his daughter, Jamie (Doug) Jackson; his son, Nick (Kate) Harms; 2 granddaughters, Ashley Bilotto and Tiffany White; brother Jeff (Karen) Harms; sister-in-law, Mary (Mike) Thompson; cousins: Ellen and Bill Trott and Barb and Daniel Furbush; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends in Mesquite, NV and Racine, WI.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Timothy and Mark Harms; his mother-in-law, Diane Fliess; and brothers-in-law, Gus and Jay Fliess.
A celebration of Scott’s life will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home (1212 Lathrop Ave., Racine, WI). A time of visitation will be held on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Private inurnment will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park.
