Samuel D. Hutchins,'s Obituary
Racine - Samuel D. Hutchins Jr., 40, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013 after a two year battle with a rare form of cancer.
Samuel Dee Hutchins Jr. was born in Racine to Samuel D Hutchins SR and Penny (nee: Pollock) Cole on August 12, 1972. He was united in marriage to Lisa M. Culp in Racine on September 6, 1997.
Cars were a passion for Sam. He worked as an automotive technician since 1993 with Ford Company and R & S Performance, which he owned and operated for six years
Sam was a member of St. Michaels Episcopal Church. He was a very generous person to all. He touched the hearts of many. Sam was a great husband, dad, and a very special friend. His pride and joy was, Jayden, his grandson.
Sam is survived by his wife, Lisa; children, Justin, Katie Marie and Gunner Hutchins; grandson, Jayden; mother and step-father, Penny (Michael) Cole; sister and two brothers, Sandy (Michael) Talley, William (Heather) Cole and Michael Cole; many of nephews and nieces, other relatives and many special friends. Sam was preceded in death by his father, Samuel D. Hutchins Sr.; Grandma and Grandpa Pollock; brother, Freddy; sister, Ann; and his beloved dog, Hercules.
Funeral services for Sam will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Friday evening, January 25, 2013 at 6:00 pm. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 4:00 pm until service time. Contributions to the family in honor of Sam would be appreciated.
