Roderick Bonner's Obituary
Racine - Roderick B. Bonner, 54, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on November 29, 2011 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.
Roderick was born in Columbus, Mississippi to John Murry Thomas and Betty Bonner Dorian on September 2, 1957. He lived in Racine for most of his life.
Mr. Bonner graduated from Washington Park High School and was employed at Goodwill Industries for 20 years. Roderick was a pure loving and giving person. He new his Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave him the gift of opening his heart to all. He had the intelligence and thoughtfulness to know how to treat people right. He enjoyed reading, music and basketball.
Roderick is survived by his mother and step-father, Betty (Wyllie) Dorian; two brothers, Reginald Drain and Leslie Frazier; two sisters, Karen Kelley and Deborah Defatte; nieces and nephews, Kimyron (Latasha) Bonner, Asewanetta Bonner, Johrie Dyess, Dionte Dyess and Sarah Defette; four great nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, John Murry Thomas
In loving memory of Roderick, service will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Sunday, December 4, 2011at 2 pm. Relatives and friends many meet with the family from 1 pm until the time of services. Interment will be held at Graceland Cemetery on Monday morning, December 5, 2011 at 10 am. Please meet at the entrance of the cemetery for procession to the grave.
