Racine - Rocio "Rosie" Cruz-Barrera, 51, passed away peacefully with her loving husband by her side on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Ascension All Saints in Racine.
Rosie was born to the late Eduardo Cruz and Teresa Barrera on July 21, 1973, in Yuriria, Guanajuato, Mexico. Rosie most recently worked as a packager at Medline in Waukegan, Illinois.
A devout Catholic, Rosie was a woman of deep faith, dedicating time to prayer and serving as a cherished member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Her unwavering spirituality was a source of strength and comfort to her family and all who knew her. Rosie found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially cooking for loved ones and traveling to new places.
Rosie is survived by her devoted husband, Alejandro Medina; her children: Yuni Medina and Wendy Medina; grandchildren: Daylin, Isaias, and Samantha; brothers: Miguel Cruz and Eduardo Cruz; along many other relatives and friends.
