Roberto Castanon's Obituary
Racine – Roberto Castanon, 71, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025. He was born on September 21, 1953, in Cuba to the late Lidia Castanon.
Roberto was a devoted family man who cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren. Family was the heart of his life, and he poured his love into every gathering, especially when it involved cooking or grilling for his loved ones. Roberto was known for his warm company. His home was always a place of laughter, joy, and Cuban camaraderie, where friends and family would gather to share stories and good food.
A skilled and creative handyman, Roberto was always the go-to person for any home project, whether it was roofing, plumbing, or painting. He was a true artisan at heart, and his talent extended to art as well—his drawings were a cherished gift to his children.
Roberto is survived by his wife, Judy Castanon; loving daughters, Alicia Davis and Andrea Ali; grandchildren, Sydney, Shane, Solomon, and Zayn; stepson, Ernesto; sisters, Sonia and Suzana; and many other family members, friends, and loved ones both in the United States and Cuba. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, grandmother, and brother.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses of Ascension All Saints Hospital and Compassus Hospice for their exceptional care during Roberto’s final days.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. May his memory live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
