Roberta Anne Perez's Obituary
Racine - Roberta Anne Perez, age 62, of Palatine, Illinois, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2025.
Born on April 19, 1963, to the late Robert and Patricia (née Nemath) Wright, Roberta grew up in Palatine where she developed a strong faith and deep sense of family. She attended First Church of God, where she found community and spiritual strength throughout her life.
Roberta will be dearly missed by her beloved partner of 35 years, Willie Bolton, with whom she shared a life full of love, laughter, and unwavering companionship. She is survived by her loving son, Shane; her sister Nakyshia Lazarre and brother Giovanni Washington. Roberta also leaves behind her cherished stepsisters, Pamela Wilson and Crystal Patterson; her stepmother Dorothy Tillmon-Wright; sister-in-law Bonnie Kirnbauer; brother-in-law Jim Mears; nieces and nephews: Jamie Kavaliunas, Kelly Bradford, and Christopher; along with many other family and friends.
Roberta was preceded in death by her brothers Bryan Kirnbauer, Darrell Kirnbauer, and Robert Alan Bradford, as well as her sister Theresa Mears. Their memories live on in the hearts of those who loved them.
Services for Roberta will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Wilson Funeral Home in Racine. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. with services to follow.
