Robert Pfeil's Obituary
Robert William Pfeil Sr. passed away on December 18, 2009 at 95 years of age. A long time resident of Racine Wisconsin, Sergeant Pfeil served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II as an instructor/electrical specialist on aircraft, especially the B-17. He worked for the Western Printing and Publishing Company as a lithographer for over 30 years. He also had a tropical fish business that he and his first wife, Lorraine Pfeil, ran out of their home on Spring St. to the delight of their children. He loved to dance, play tennis, and vacation in Las Vegas.
He is survived by his first wife, Lorraine Pfeil, his son Roger Pfeil (who cared for him during his last four and a half years), his daughters, Jay Pfeil and Tam Mudd, six grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his son Robert William Pfeil Jr.
The memorial service is to be held in late spring at date to be announced later. Condolences can be sent to Jay Pfeil and family, 106A West View Ave., Black Mountain, NC 28711.
