Robert Olson's Obituary
Kenosha - Robert K. Olson, 89, passed away early Monday morning, October 26, 2009 at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare-All Saints.
Robert was born in Akley, Minnesota on June 27, 1920 to late Oscar and Bess (nee: Bouck) Olson. He lived in Racine and Kenosha areas since 1949. On February 22, 1947, he was united in marriage to Lola Martin in Sumner, Washington.
Mr. Olson was in the United States Navy. He was employed at Jacobson-Textron Mfg. and also had a side business of making ornamental railings for many years. He was a member of First Evangelical Free Church.
Robert is survived by his wife, Lola Olson; one daughter, Julia (Floyd) Leonard of Sturtevant; two sons, Brian Olson of Kenosha and David Olson of Stanley, WI.; two grandchildren; and four great-grand children.
A memorial service will be held at the First Evangelical Free Church, 2401 Ohio Street on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 11 a.m. with Pastor John Bodnar officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with family at the church from 9 a.m. until service time. Memorials to First Evangelical Free Church have been suggested by the family.
