Robert Koker's Obituary
Racine - Mr. Robert R. Koker, 88, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2008 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center in Leesburg, Florida.
Robert Koker was born in Somers on February 14, 1920 to the late Walter and Jesse (nee: Partlow) Koker. He lived in Racine for most of his life. Robert was united in marriage to Luna Tiede in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
Mr. Koker served his country during WWII in the United States Army. He was employed by Hamilton Beach, Racine Unified School District and Rexnord until his retirement in 1980.
Mr. Koker was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church.
Robert is survived by his wife, Luna; two sons, Richard (Jean) Kass of Racine, and Paul Koker of New Milford, Connecticut; two grandchildren, Kim (Brian) Hulsey and Brian (Teresa) Kass both of Racine; four great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Alyce Koker of Racine; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Robert is preceded in death by his former wife, Mary Koker (nee: Petro); two brothers, Earl and George Koker, and one sister, Hazel Koker.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 3126 95th Street, on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 11a.m. with Father Mark Molling officiating. Interment will take place immediately following services at Holy Cross Cemetery on Hwy. 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Memorials to one's favorite charity have been suggested.
