Robert Cramer's Obituary
Racine - Mr. Robert J. Cramer, 78, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare - All Saints on Sunday, August 15, 2010.
Robert Cramer was born in Chicago, IL to the late Arthur and Esther (nee: Koertgen) Cramer on August 29, 1931. He had lived in Racine since 1958. He was united in marriage to Joyce Harris on July 21, 2001.
Mr. Cramer was a member of Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church. He was employed at Vobeda Tool & Machine Company and retired on June 30, 1996. Mr. Cramer was a licensed pilot who owned two private planes. He enjoyed flying and traveling in his motor home. He was handy and creative with his wood working and metal work skills. Most of all, he was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Robert is survived by his wife, Joyce; seven children, Robert (Marcy) Cramer, Daniel (Karen) Cramer, Maureen Cramer (Kelly Bain), Neal (Terry) Cramer, Mary Cramer, John (Jennifer) Cramer and Phillip Cramer; ten grandchildren, Stephanie, Joshua, Ryan, Justin, Mallory, Ethan, Faryn, Sean, Austin and Dylan; one great grandson, KJ Cramer; two sisters, Rita Stillman and Dolores Hume; five step children, Jeff (Olga) Hermes, Kim (Jim) Morzinski, Liz (Michael) Rosienski and Donna (Kerry) Dieter; 12 step grandchildren, Joey Hermes, Amanda (Brian) Allen, Josh Hermes, Megan Hermes, Jenifer Poulsen, Erin Poulsen, Jayme Rosienski, Jared Rosienski, Jenna Rosienski, Shayn Dieter, Tyler Dieter and Allyssa Dieter; one step great granddaughter, Danica Mohrbacher; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Bridget Cramer; one granddaughter, Jennifer Cramer; one daughter-in-law, Nancy Cramer; and one brother, Arthur Cramer
Funeral services will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Friday, August 20, 2010 at 10:30 am with Rev. David Echelberger officiating. Entombment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Thursday evening, August 19, 2010 from 5 until 7:30 pm. Memorials may be directed to Career Industries of Racine.
