Richard Berval Hart, Sr.'s Obituary
Racine – Richard “Dick” Berval Hart, Sr., 81, passed away in Racine at Naturally Nurtured Group Home on April 20, 2020.
Dick was born in Mondovi, WI to Paul and Verna (nee Kwosek) Hart on November 17, 1938. He was a longtime resident of Kenosha. Every morning Dick would visit Sandy and Kathy, owners of Cheers Bar, referred to as his first home. He enjoyed Happy Hour with his friends. Dick was a kind, funny, and compassionate man and was an all-around good guy.
Dick worked in construction as a bulldozer driver. He loved working on his cars and tinkering with machines or contraptions. Dick was an avid outdoorsman. He took much pleasure in hunting, fishing, and camping any chance he could have. Dick was also a musician, playing his guitars with bands.
Dick is survived by his son, Richard B. Hart, Jr.; brother, Bill (Sandy) Hart; sister, Kathy (Bob) Crawford; sister-in-law, Bonnie Hart; special cousin, Julie Bauer; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Phyllis Kent and Margaret (Dale) Rud; brothers: Paul Hart and David Hart; and a special nephew, Kevin Rud.
Per Dick’s wishes, he was cremated and will be spread in the north woods. Memorials may be directed to the Wisconsin Endangered Resources Fund, https://dnr.wi.gov/topic/EndangeredResources/DonateOnline.asp.
