Richard Gemoll's Obituary
Caledonia – Richard E. Gemoll, 67, died peacefully in his home on December 25, 2013.
Richard was born in LaCrosse, WI on February 16, 1946, to Clarence and Nelda (nee: Wilder) Gemoll. In Waukegan, IL, he married Giomar Garcia on November 23, 1970.
For more than 36 years, Richard was employed by JI Case, finally retiring in December of 2000. He was a very active member of Fellowship Baptist Church and recently enjoyed his involvement in the Senior Group. Richard was an avid deer hunter and also a member of the National Wildlife Society. He was a big Packers, Brewers and racing fan.
Richard will be dearly missed by his son, Robert Garcia; daughter, Gloria L. Gemoll; grandchildren, Ashley and Amanda; two great grandchildren; brother, Russell Gemoll; sister-in-law, Connie Malone; brothers-in-law, Ray Sertuche and Mike Reyes; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Giomar Gemoll and his parents.
Please join the family for a funeral ceremony at Fellowship Baptist Church, 5607 Wright Avenue, on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 10:00 AM with Pastor David Sincock officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park chapel. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family at Fellowship Baptist Church on Friday evening, January 3, 2014 from 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM and on Saturday morning at the church from 9:00 AM until the 10:00 AM service time.
