Paula Kay Pauley's Obituary
Mount Pleasant – Paula Kay Pauley, 59, passed away peacefully at the Aurora Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa on January 7, 2019.
Paula was born in Cudahy and was raised in South Milwaukee by the late Vernal and Martha (nee Thomas) Hoffman on October 2, 1959. In Racine at their residence, she married Lance R. Pauley on September 18, 2004. Paula retired from Cooper Industries approximately the same year.
Paula was involved in many organizations. She was a member of Milwaukee Model T Club and the Citizens Police Academy for Mount Pleasant. She also belonged to the National Harley Owners Group which she coordinated the local chapter’s blood drive for more than three years. Paula and her husband were avid volunteers for Hospice Respite care and supporters of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Paula enjoyed daily visits at the dog park and was an absolute dog lover, especially for her wiener dogs and golden retrievers.
Paula will be dearly missed by her husband, Lance; step-sons, Keith (Levonne) and Robert Pauley; brothers and sisters: Frank (Penny) Hoffman, Jeannie (Miles) Paris, and Rita (Phil) Mierzwa; dear nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends; and her fur babies, Deja Blue and Chloe. She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Hoffman.
A celebration of Paula’s life will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at 3:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM.
