Patricia Tyllo's Obituary
Mrs. Patricia A. Tyllo (nee: Shimkus), 82, passed away at Kenosha Memorial Hospital on Saturday, January 5, 2008.
Patricia was born in Racine to Charles and Amelia (nee: Wanagaf) Shimkus on April 29, 1925. In Racine, she was united in marriage to Charles Tyllo on November 12, 1949 who preceded her in death on May 28, 2006.
Mrs. Tyllo was an active member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Altar Society at St. Casmir's Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling and playing cards. Most importantly, she loved and cared for grandchildren and family.
Patricia is survived by her four children, Deborah (Steven) Aperavich of Gurnee, Illinois, John Tyllo of Racine, Diane (Michael) Crowell of New Berlin, and Robert (Linda) Tyllo of Deerfield; six grandchildren, Sarah Aperavich and her fianc?, Jason Lewis, Beth (Adam) Ford, Daniel Aperavich, Lindsay, Jaclyn, and Katy Tyllo; other relatives; and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents and an infant son, Charles Matthew Tyllo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6400 Spring Street, on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 10 am with Fr. William Dietzler celebrating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery on Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Wednesday morning from 9 am until the time of Mass. Memorials may be directed to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.
